Please note: Payment at the gate and in the cafe is by cash only. Dogs are welcome in the gardens on leads – please remember to clear up after them. We do not allow picnics anywhere on the premises. Wheelchair access is only limited in places although there are wood-chip paths in most places. There is wheelchair access to the outdoor toilet in the kitchen garden but the indoor toilets have a couple of steps. Be aware when visiting, especially with children, that the gardens contain large areas of open water.
Boasting possibly the greatest display of delicate and naturalised snowdrops and aconites in East Anglia in February, closely followed by daffodils and early spring bulbs in March. Our tea rooms will also be open serving delicious food and drinks.
Enjoy over 40 acres of formal gardens, wilderness, canals and walkways. Friday, 19th April 2019 will be our Annual Easter Egg Hunt – a great day out for all the family! If children wish to participate in the hunt, it is £3 per child. We recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment. Our tearooms will be open serving delicious food and drinks.
Summer opening with acres of gardens and woodland walks, large borders and a multitude of roses and rare and unusual plants. Bellflower Nursery will have an array of plants for sale. If the weather is fine why not treat yourself to a glass of Rose in the Kitchen Garden?
Chippenham Park Gardens will be open to the public on Sunday October 7th for a blaze of autumn colour. The gardens, lakes and borders are still full of colour and charm late into summer and we have Bellflower Nursery selling a selection of plants. Delicious home-made cakes, scones, coffee, tea and barbecued sausages and others refreshments are being laid on in the licensed Potting Shed Cafe.
